Fr. John Ryan
Pastor
Fr. John Ryan has been Pastor of St. Brendan for the past 13 years.  Prior to St. Brendan he was Pastor of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora, FL.  Fr. Ryan is originally from New Jersey and was ordained in the Diocese of Trenton.

Mrs. Marybeth Boyle
Principal

Mrs. Boyle received her undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, Pa.  Her graduate studies were at Gwynedd Mercy College in Gwynedd, Pa.  She has been a math teacher at St. Brendan's since 2003. Prior to teaching at St. Brendan, she worked for Astra-Zeneca pharmaceuticals and taught in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Mrs. Marilyn Stack
School Office Administration

Daytona State College, AA
Mrs. Stack has been the administrator of the St. Brendan School office for the past 24 years.

 

Mrs. Kathleen Zimmerer
Pre-Kindergarten

A.A. Degree, Child Development Associate (CDA)
Mrs. Zimmerer has worked in the Pre-K at St. Brendan for the last 11 years, after 6 years in  Hillsborough County School District, Tampa.

Mrs. Yvonne Latcheran
Kindergarten

University of Missouri, BS in Early Childhood , BS in Elementary Education 
Additional courses and certificates include .UCF -Child Development, Diocesan Catechist Certificate. Mrs. Latcheran has been teaching Kindergarten at St. Brendan for 26 years.

Mrs. Karen Lapointe
First Grade

Mrs. Lapointe has taught First Grade at St. Brendan School for 34 years. She is published in Who's Who Among America's Teachers. Nominated for the Miriam Joseph Farrell Award For Distinguished Teaching. Achieved "Advanced Catechist" standing for Religious Education in the Diocese of Orlando.

Mr. William Reynolds

Additional credentials include: Northeastern Ohio Writing Project: Teacher Fellow, Cleveland State University Teachers Institute for Holocaust Studies (Summer '09). Mr. Reynolds has been teaching at St. Brendan for the past ten years and has completed forty-one years of teaching.

Mrs. Elizabeth Anne Swaringen

Mrs. Ashton brings a wealth of experience in middle school Reading, English, Debate and Speech.  In her spare time, Mrs. Ashton coached Cross Country, Volleyball and Cheerleading.  Welcome Mrs. Ashton!

Mr. Ronald Therrien

Prior to his work at St. Brendan, Mr. Therrien taught for 35 years at Oakmont Regional High School in South Ashburnham, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Linda King

Advanced courses include: UCF and DSC Education Courses, Florida K - 12 Art Teacher Certification. Mrs. King has been a graphic designer since 1971, and has been employed as a local art teacher since 1999 (Pre-K grade 8).

Mrs. Olbrys has been at St. Brendan for the past 7 years. She has served in education for 34 years, in Baltimore, MD as a Department Chair in English, in Wilmington, DE, in Newtown, CT as a Department Chair in English.

Mr. Liso is a graduate of St. Brendan School and will begin his seventh year of teaching at St. Brendan.

Mrs. Donna Waldron
Librarian and Technology Coordinator

Maria del Carmen Warnick
Spanish Native Spanish speaker and Florida Certified Teacher.  Licentiate in Educacion, Major in Permanent Learning from Universidad Simon Rodriguez, Caracas, Venezuela.  Graduate of the Educator Prep Institute, DSC. Extensive experience in various areas of education inlcuding publishing.  Member of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).  Mrs. Warnick has been teaching in Flagler County since 2006.
